The following illustrations are from a coloring book I made: the “G-Rated Kawaii Cat “Alternative” Swear Word Coloring Book”. After seeing many adult coloring books using swear words for sale, I thought I’d make one using old-timey, more “G-rated” expressions. In retrospect I think the market prefers the more modern swear words, but nonetheless, I translated my nostalgic sentiments into what ended up being some of my favorite work: cute, kawaii, fun illustrations innocent enough for every age.
